Fidelio X2 Vs Dt990, Hi people, Need more info, but I can tell you what I like better. The amount of bass on the X2 is more but bass is better on the 990. what score rate you would put for /philips-fidelio-x2 AND dt990 pro for electronic music and gaming from 0 to 10? most i am interested for electronic music for this i am asking what rate score you would put Well this is what happen when you are a one men show. It just sounds so lifeless compared to the X2. The DT990 600ohm are fun as well with a lot more detail. I guess the DT990 will be better The dt990 really shine on the high notes while the x2hr is a bit darker with a bit more oomph in the lower frequencies. However, Massdrop just started a drop for the Beyerdynamic DT990 Premium (250 Ohm) and from the "Mad Lust Gaming Guide" thread and some other research I hear these are great for my purposes as I am looking for a pair of headphones that I could mainly use at home for gaming + movies, and I have been looking at both DT990 600ohm (160$) and the Fidelio X2HR (199$). But the controller will not be able to drive 600ohms well.
